Care in Comics

The Care in Comics project was in collaboration with the Centre for Care, and comics editor & producer Gabi Putnoki.

I illustrated a 16 page comic about a carer trying to juggle her daily responsibilities and her full time job, and the difference that a supportive workplace made to her life. The narrative was split into two parallel storylines, one with good support at work, and the other with no support.

The comic is being used to take to party conferences to hopefully influence politicians and secure extra funding for carers support. Illustrated comics are a perfect way to present issues like this in an accessible and easy to understand way.
